It is likely that Gold Disk had already stopped developement on those products
prior to AGA. There are a number of thing that the software may be doing that
is not quite legal or the software may be confused by the removal of a couple
of compatibility hacks.
My only useful suggestion is that you keep asking around as you have here since
it is possible that someone knows what the specific problems are and what 'work
arounds' or patches may be possible.
I would suggest that you try running with an 8 color workbench and see if that
helps.
