#Monitor ghosting
For various reasons, the main one being the need for capable business software
running on a computer for which spare parts are still available, I finally had
to buy a 486 computer.
In order to use my 17 inch monitor with both machines (my Amiga is a 3000 with
the built in de-interlacer), I purchased a switch box and two db15 cables (6
feet long) to connect to both my computers.
I now have a ghost image on my screen. When I connect my Amiga or 486 directly
to the monitor the problem disappears.
Has anyone solved this problem or does anyone know how I can solve this problem
without having to plug the monitor directly into each computer every time I
switch between them?
