4.0 was pretty buggy. (I hated when it corrupted files the most.)

Well, 64K is definitely the segment size for the 8088 processor, so maybe it
all stems from that.

I believe they do know how to program, htey just can't figure out how to "fix"
it without breaking any of the Win3.1 archatecture. (I guess they haven't
figured out how to do VDM's like IBM has.) Win95 has the same limitation for
now, but they are trying to move GDI to the flat ram area.
"And do you by any chance know why System Resources became GDI so suddenly?"
You got me. Maybe because it sounds like it's not as much of a problem if your
GDI is low rather than your "system resources."
