Phew! I can't say I've found the Web as slow as you say, my initial homepage appears (sans graphics) in about 4 seconds.. Could it be the amount of traffic on your provders computer that is slowing things down? Anyway, the only tip I can offer for now is ..see that little button on the bottom right hand corner, the flashing blob in 1.2 or the spinning hand in 1.3beta thats the abort transfer button.. I hit that as soon as I see an image is 100k+ <g> Steve
