Larry,
I thought I said ^P PROF 3 <ret> SET 2:1 <ret> <ret> Maybe I shouldn't do
the SET bit, since your datapac.hlp file says it turns echo back on. Is
this echo only for when doing the datapac commands, or does it effect CIS?
I can't see it being my iNet escape sequence, since I made it a few
characters longer, actually three \ in a row and I don't think there are much
odds in getting that in any uploads, though possible. Pretty sure not iNet
getting in the way.
Barrie – I am about as far from there as I am from TO. Must be at least 500
miles from here to TO, I think the actual driving distance is much more, so
I guess we can assume an eye ball is out of the question!! I am in Marathon,
which is about half way between Thunder Bay and Sault St. Marie. Thunder
Bay is at least three hours driving, the Soo four (never been there yet).
When I go to Thunder Bay, I always (so far) have gone there, do my business,
and am back the same day!
I have one thing left to try, and that is my good old SeXy-64 and the term
pgm I got with the 1670 modem. Will I just tried using the SeXy-64 using
both B and XModem (the vt100 program does have a problem on xmodem send –
every block had to be sent 5 times when sending it to the 64) XModem timed
out, as CIS didn't seem to respond after the 9th block sent. B sent two
blocks (maybe three) then seemed to just sit there waiting for CIS to
respond again. Again I will try it in the morning, but at this time, I
gotta say the problem is CIS with the 64.
