Steve; Your message is not real helpful however… 1) Do you have an accellerator in the machine? 2) Do you have a card mounted HD in the machine? For an immediate and general suggestion, the power supply and motherboard power connection was frequently troublesome on A2000s. I would suggest that you look for signs of over heating in the connector shell (darking of the white plastic). If you see something like this then the connector pins on the MB may need to be resoldered. In some cases just sliding the connector up and down on the pins will clear up PS problems. As the machine is a bit old now, it is pretty well possible for any connector to become intermittent (including socketed chips). All of the socketed chips could be moved up and down in their sockets just a little to remove any oxide that might have formed. Board card edge connectors can also become intermittent. All of this 'cleaning' and exercising should be done only by someone that understands and respects the potential for causing damage. In particular the "square" sockets are especially fragile. Indeed, a crack in one of these types of sockets has been the source of intermittent crashing problems for more than just a few machines. -bill
