#Video effect
Help! Anybody got an idea on the following problem:
I need to swap live NTSC video, left for right mirror image, only
going to an NTSC monitor. That is, flip along an axis vertically through
the center of an image. This needs to be continuous live video, although a
slight lag of a couple of frames is probably ok, as long as 30 frames/sec.
is maintained. The image is a strict reversal, no need to rotate
The expensive way: ADO.
The easy way: a mirror.
The unlikely: a monitor that scans from right to left instead of left to
right.
The said-they-couldn't: Newtek Video Toaster
The possible: a video graphics board that can map the display area (flip
rows or columns) pretty strangely.
Any clues appreciated. Thanks.
God, I hate word problems. A video signal is travelling 100 mph from
Chicago to Baltimore…
