"I felt there was a hidden player in the liquidation of C= assets with an equally hidden agenda" I don't think that there's much hidden here. From what I read, IBM belatedly became aware of a small technology sharing agreement it had with Commodore and is essentially arguing that it is not liable under that agreement because of Commodore's bankruptcy. A pretty reasonable issue for a "Deep Pockets" company like IBM to raise and a hundred page brief supporting it isn't unusual. Strikes me that all they're trying to is to insure that no liability will attach to them because of the sale of Commodore's assets. IBM owns more patents than any company in the world. I seriously doubt that the secrets to a re-emergence of IBM as the dominant player in the market hinges upon some aspect of the Amiga technology. Jerry
