#Font conversion
The Type 1's in 3DS are specifically designed for 3D Studio. Not only do they
lack the font metric information they also lack hinting information, kerning
information and several other neat little tidbits that would make them suitable
for DTP work. They are also licensed for use specifically for 3DS, not for
other programs.
Although there are ways to create the pfms for the fonts, the other key info
that was excluded from the sets, can cause extreme damage to Windows and any
programs running under windows. So if you try it and you end up needing to re
low level you hard disk and reload everything on it, just remember you were
forwarned.
