>> to avoid any obvious transition between any of the keychoice .FLCs. I had
hoped that perhaps 1FRAME.FLC might act as an `invisible' screen that when
displayed affects nothing on-screen, letting all of the other .FLCs within the
keychoice loop run into & from each other without having the cut / fade to
black after each one. Possible or tricky ? <<
hi Ed. i use fades between all animated slides… if i "cut" to the next flic,
the palette of the next flic has to be re-initialized which causes buzz scatter
for a second. i don't think it's possible to avoid this, even in other
packages, because of the palette refresh required. most other presentation
packages i see out there do fade transitions for the same reason, to load the
new palette in "darkness". never one to say it's impossible, i reach _my_
current limits here with aniplay… for animated slides, fade transitions are
no problem with an unlimited number of flics and a blank screen between them.
considering the tiny resources required for this solution, it's TARGA+
abilities and on the fly scripting, this isn't too much of a hassle. animator
studio also promises new whizbang and new blowouts. 🙂
best wishes with your presentation. -dave
