Not sure why we use emm386 or the like. The only program that
I use that needs it is Deluxe paint. Take it out and use only himem.sys.
I run about 550k but so what? almost any new program should work fine.
btw if you need higher for games and cd-roms, think about a multi startup
sequence and use emm384 only if ya need to.
