#NT Myths…
Please Ted, read my message to Robert. If you are planning to buy new software,
please be sure that it is supported by the manufacturer of the product and/or
MS. As a preventive measure, try to make that the manufacturer. MS could be too
slow releasing new versions of drivers and they only support the most basic
features of the devices.
I have had many problems in the past with NT and, either because software or
hardware upgrades, they all have been solved. Keep in mind that most of this
problems were with the betas and 3.1. NT is not a beast, but it is not a field
of roses (or it is a field of roses: pretty but it could hurt 🙂 Right now, the
only thing I can't run on NT is my Polaroid SprintScan 35 and my Kodak
ColorEase PS. BUT again, all the equipment I have ever had is standard (I mean,
no clones or custom boxes) and moreless, everything has been "plug and play"
(if you can call weekend-long installations plug and play <g>).
Well, that brings me again to the first paragraph 🙂
