As far as driver support is concerned, the first person whom I recall mentioning a driver incompatibility was John himself. The Truvision line was without a plan for NT drivers for their frame buffers, John picked up on this as being quite important just after the R5 announcement. Don't you recall this? I may have just a small pea of a brain lodged in my head but I wasn't about to take a message from John as being the only words of truth on this topic. Like your messages about how wonderful life is with a Mac, I listen and decide for myself whether or not I believe a word. With that why not offer the forum some useful information on the pitfalls of a switch to NT? Which software packages are currently not available? (Yep, I've noted a number of Photoshop plug-ins are not yet available) Which packages work but are still flaky? Which other pieces of hardware are without NT drivers? (A 3DS user would probably want to know about digitizing tablets, CD-ROM drives, removable media, sound cards and other frame buffers, etc.) What can you tell us? Can you offer any facts? Bob
