well, Bob, 3-DS is my principal application and animation is all I do. The ideaea of all my apps running in one environment is probably too much to ask. But it would be worth the performance if ALPHA and R5 were compatible. Then I would run whatever apps I could on that system, and whatever else on my current system. I'm just in the dark about compatible networking in such a scenario. Looks like I'll have a bit to learn come winter. At any rate, holding off till I hear tangible facts about what's gonna run. I don't even know what the forecast is regarding P6. Will P6 run all previous apps? I was ready to plunk down some cash for a P5120 and want some answers… that cash is itch'n to be spent. J
