#NT Myths…
Just for the record folks, bear in mind that we are not talking about PC's and
Macs, we are talking about OS systems on PC's. And I will stand 100% behind
what I've stated.
The truth be known, its is a Superior OS. And just to prove it, I'm going to
let you in on an inside tip. You can walk into any Egghead or CompUSA and buy
the upgrade right off the shelf (or order it mail order for that matter) and
install it without having owned any previous version of 3.1 or had it loaded.
No catch! (There's a catch for the dealer's as their supposed to get a cover
page etc. but nobody has been bothering with it. I don't know how long this
will last, though.) So do yourself a favor and pick it up for $95-$99 before
MS figures out that they're peculiar marketing scheme has been discovered.
O.K.? I've given you a valuable inside tip which is going to save you over
$200! Its worth checking out. And soon!
BTW I think Ana is well meaning. Her spirit and determination are admirable,
but not really focused on the reality of the situation. The fact is, NT is,
without a doubt, the best OS for the PC available, hands down, and there's just
_NO_ two ways about it. I have no problem stating that NT is the best OS system
period, for the task at hand, for the job we do, in the environment we do it
in. Argueing about Mac's and PC's is pointless. Its like argueing between which
is better, Fish or Beef. Its a preference of style. I like the – no frills –
get down to it – approach and from that standpoint NT is *IT*, regardless of
platform. But don't take my word for it, you've got a great opportunity to
check it out for yourself, just don't wait too long… the secret is out, and I
know there's a lot of hidden traffic around here… word to the wise.
