>> BTW is there any special procedures to installing memory, or do you just plug in the new boards and turn on your computer? << Some (most?) machines you have to install four chips at a time. for example I had to remove four of my previous 8 one meg chips and install 4 four meg chips to upgrade to 20 meg. If you have four single meg chips and want to upgrade to 8 megs you will need four more one meg chips. This can all be very different depending on what type of machine you have. Pentiums use a completely different type of chip (and some of the 120 mhz pentiums can use an even different type). Best thing to do is go through the manual or call the manufacturer. -Sam J. Bowling
