To move a complete object you should just press <M> to move an axis you should
use <SHIFT-M>. In the current version of imagine there is a bug with one of the
shift keys, so I'd suggest trying the other shift key. Also you can use the
ALT-T to type in the amount of motion to do, but make sure you have the axis
only button pressed.
