don't worry, there's provisions for multiple serial ports or whatever.
essentially they are handled like multiple drives – there's a structure with
a "unit number" in it that points to the serial handler code and device name
and such. i don't have all the details, cuz i don't have manuals – i go sit
in corners at user group meetings and read ray brand's RKMs. –Scotty
