I have found that if I use LoadWB from s/startup-sequen df0: really starts gronking away. However, if I delete the LoadWB, and do some sort of disk I/O to df1: (like DIR or LD) then the noise is abated and it takes only about a fifth of the time to load Workbench as it did from the startup script. Can anyone tell me why? I can guess that it has something to do with the recognition of df1:, as it didn't seem to do this before I had two drives…..but then again, I really don't know
