#TAG-BBS
J0rgen,
Thanks for the reply, but we seem to have things working now. The file we
were orginally using as a test was Aterm (v7.3), and TAG simply would not
accept it. However, we decided, just for the heck of it, to try something
different ( the point of the test was to see what happened when we uploaded a
file too large for the available file space, which unfortunately causes the
usual requester to pop up, and basically hang the board, sigh….). Well,
everything else we've uploaded has worked, perfectly. This is after having
uploaded about 35 different files now (to a MultiScribe 30MB hard card
installed on a connected SideCar), and no problems whatsoever. Still giving
questionable results with Aterm though. I don't know what Larry has done to
Aterm, but TAG doesn't like it one bit <grin>. And aside from some quirks with
the hard drive controller software with the SideCar, everything is ship shape (
Strangely enough, with the Janus hard drive controller software running, Arc
will cause 'Software Failure' messages whenever you try to build, or extract
from an archive. It works okay if you're using one of the other functions,
like verbose listing, etc., but no go otherwise, weird…)
Anyway, thanks for the reply. We've given TAG a regular workout this week,
and except for this Aterm thing, everything is just fine. Now I'll have to
send Patrick his money for a job well done. Guess I can also field questions
regarding TAG if anyone is having problems. Lemme know!
