No, not exactly – it's true with just about anything. When I run WP, I can
run only WP and I can't even print – I have to save my file and run the print
program separately.
When I run my terminal program, I can run only my terminal program. That's
what my comment "not gettipng much of anything to multitask in a 512K
computer" was referring to in fact. I can run my terminal program, but I
can't have an editable capture buffer because there isn't one – the programs
expect me to have a text editor running in the background. Which I assume is
in the long run going to be a very powerful thing.
But in 512K it makes the machine's usefulness very limited.
