Henry, I think a bit of the bashing that deals with WP is twofold. 1. It _seems_ as if WP used the first buyers as beta testers. The product came out and was obviously not up to par. WP provided excellent support, but the fact remains that very obvious things (which I don't recall at this time since I do not have WP, but WP did acknowledge were wrong and fixed) didn't work as they should have. 2. WP's pricing policy, in particular they placed a $395 SRP on the product and then reccomended (or at least their represenative here reccomended) that folks buy it from a mail order house where it could be had for less than $200. That in particular annoyed me. At their suggested pricing, there is well over 100% markup. Not only is that absurd (to me), but it's unrealistic. They, and other larger publishing houses, seem to think that high SRP means quality to the consumer…when in fact most consumers can (and do) see it as a rip-off. Don
