First of all, my point is that they MADE a mistake with WordPerfect back last year, but that's behind us. For everyone's information, WP's refund rate (which they do offer if you read the licensing agreement, and it has no time limit) is less than 1%. The licensing agreement says that if you find a bug in WordPerfect, and it ain't fixed in WAIT I just grabbed the box. I will quote from it, copyright WP Corp "WpCorp warrants that the program will perform in substantial compliance with the enclosed documentation. If you rep[ort a significant defect in writing to WPCorp and WPcorp is unable to correct it within 90 days, you may return the program, and WPcorp will refund the purchase price of the program". Notice that 1) there is no time limit given to the purchaser, i.e. he can find a bug 1 year from now 2) they say refund the PURCHASE price. Notice that also, the amount of people who take them up on this offer has been less than 1 percent, which is indicitive (I think) of people enjoy bashing people for the adolescent fun of it, but, when it comes right down to it, the product is necessary to them in some way and they stick to it. This policy is not hidden in tiny print either. On the Amiga version it's located right on the back, in the same size print as the "features" list. On the Atari version, it's located on the spine in all capitals. My point is this. They made a mistake. They fixed it. It is an excellent product. Let's therefore move on. As far as SRP goes, I've been dealing with this thing for almost a year now, as a dealer and as a consumer, and with heavy-duty telecommunicating I've NEVER heard of a single complaint about that. The reason it has a high SRP is because it's the same as the IBM version, which is either $100 or $200 higher in SRP, and they didn't want to mark it too low or it would anger the IBM people.
