I've figured it all out. Seems the printer allows a <Esc>Q to go into graphics mode and a <Esc>[t to go out of graphics mode. Everything in between it accepts as raw data from bits 0 to 5. Bits 6 and 7 are ignored but should both be set to allow the printer to accept 0 for no bits on. I am going to upload a text file which has a sample C program to dump a single bitplane image to the 920 printer. I do not know how it could be added to a driver to do the dump though. I've written this at work so I can dump images from the screen to the Printek 920 and it works pretty well but it is extremely slow. The example in the manual is corrent, but it prints the box so small that it just looks like a solid block of dots. Try sending <Esc>Q to the printer then about 80 question marks then a <Esc>[t to the printer. You get a solid line.
