As for CBM being there, they shouldn't be – BIX/Byte did/does more to harm the Amiga than any other force outside of IBM's marketing organization; support of BIX is like driving coffin nails into your machine. You, of course, do as you see fit – but to me, it's unethical. As far as BIX's message handling capabilities, they're immaterial – it's like discussing the message handling capabilites of an Apple/IBM marketing firms BBS – why use it anyway. Developers that use BIX are paying Byte 10$/hour (or more, I don't know firsthand) to knock the Amiga monthly. It's far worse than buying that raggy, lying, inaccurate mat of IBM-boot-licking Apple pulp… they only get 4-5$, once a month, for that trash… BIX, on the other hand, provides them with much more profit, while putting forth a completely false image of "fairness". Byte is approximatly the quality of the National Enquirer, IMHO. And BIX, by association. It's a matter of ethics. –Ben–
