I have the very original JVC SC1224 (different case than the monochromes.)
Great monitor.
So you're telling me basically I don't have to worry about some of the
reports I've heard that the SC1224 will -always- mess up a bit?
You're telling me to shrink the horizontal width when I'm already losing 1
column of letters?
Also I have another problem maybe someone can help me with (you too larry!)
The picture waves slowly – very slowly. It's gentle, there's no real
distortion, but if you look at a straight line, vertically, you can watch it
gently wave back and forth. The thing about it is that the entire scan line
does that, so it looks like a gentle "rippling effect" on the picture. It
doesn't APPEAR to be RFI or anything like that – no TV's, radios, and it
happens whether my printer/modem is on/off (no link there). Fortunately it's
not real bad – until I notice it, then it's annoying.
