SuperDJ Driver
John, I haven't tried the Super_DJ. I was using the Better_DJ (the one they
distributed on the nets). I noticed that it doesn't support the alternate
character set (i.e. it doesn't map the Amiga alt keycodes to their equivalents
in the printer character set). I began to wonder if Amiga printer drivers did
this at all, and upon looking into it I found that, indeed, the extended
character table feature was added to the v1.3 driver format. It turns out that
the Commodore preferences Deskjet driver _does_ support the alt characters, so
I have gone back to that for now. I'd probably activate the Better_DJ driver
for gray-scale graphics but not for text.
So, if you find out whether Super_DJ supports the alt characters properly,
I'd be very interested.
