4000 in Byte
A4000 in 256 color mode is a bleeding dog just like any Amiga before it in
high-res-laced 16 color mode. So who runs workbenches in 8 bitplane modes?
Whyinheck would someone want THAT many colors? 16 colors is plenty and the
A4000 is reasonably zippy there. And for graphics animation the 8 bitplane
modes are quite as fast as any PClone card I have seen. (But then I have
not seen the REAL fast ones….)
