Ron, I see lots of ads in magazines for products that are never mentioned in the magazine itself. Now sure, most of these items are add-ons or software or other compatible products…but the product itself is never mentioned other than in an ad. Now, I'm not sure that advertising in a PC specific magazine such as PCWeek would be the greatest idea in the world…unless you at least mentioned the XT and AT bridges along with the specific Amiga stuff. The point of an ad is to make the customer aware of your product and hopefully create a desire for that product. Ads should be placed so that you maximize exposure to your intended audience. It wouldn't make much sense for DEC to advertise the VAX in a C=64 specific magazine. That's not the right audience…either is Byte. Don
