Well, they obviously have serious problems with their program (if I am reading
correctly, both Amiga and ST versions), technical support is unsupportive and
they spent bundles on advertising for too long. Any well financed company
could weather these problems and prevail with a lot of luck, so, if their
pockets are deep enough, we have nothing to worry about.
The value of PS is far more than we paid for it, even with all of the bugs, and
Soft-Logik should be proud of their product and anxious to make it even better.
PS reviews in Amiga magazines have been very positive, even while warning
prospective buyers of general bugginess. PS has been accepted with open arms.
But Soft-Logik seems to be hunkered down for a fight. Jack's attitude, when he
shows up here, is often combatitive; it wasn't when PS first came out.
Something about his work is making him unhappy. A lot of what I'm saying
sounds like Commodore a couple of years ago, doesn't it? Commodore pulled
through, let's hope Soft-Logik does too.
