However, I was not the person who installed it…so I don't know what they did to get it to work… The device driver software that is provided with the HDI package sets up the Syquest drive so that the Seagate host adapter thinks that it has 8 HEADS, 17 SECTORS, and 638 CYLINDERS (i.e. it makes the Syquest drive appear as a Seagate hard disk drive). This should allow you to get around the problem of having 68 blocks per track on an MS-DOS volume. Anyway, you want it (the Seqgate adapter), it's yours.
