On the Amiga side, the software I would send you toward are:
VLT for a terminal package. It is an excellent VT100/TEX4105 emulator with
extremely good AREXX control.
For editors, you have a number of choices. FinalCopy is an excellent one,
but I haven't had much personal experience with it.
