Thanks for your reply.The accelerator worked ok by itself.Even with just the 8-UP! in the expansion box the system wouldn't boot.I disabled autoconfiguring and used a utility program to read the bus devices.It showed the KRONOS and the 2 PIC'S of the 8-UP!.SOMEtimes the KRONOS worked but the 8-UP! just doesn't like the accelerator period,alone or in combination. With the autoconfig disabled on the 8-UP! the system would boot but crash with a lot of 2's,3's and 4's,whenever I tried to add the memory. I'm back to where I started.Before I bought the box,drive and memory I checked with each of the companies to make sure they would work,I should have done that with the accelerator as well.I could use the accelerator with just the KRONOS but I want the memory also so I took it out.Everything that good go wrong from a mishap standpoint did but I got it back together the way it was originally.
