Dwayne, Well…yes and no. A low level format "prepares" the surface by setting up sectors, and on a SCSI drive, by normally mapping out bad sectors. After a low level format, the drive still isn't useable by AmigaDOS…since none of the information that AmigaDOS requires is on the disk at this point. I'm not sure if a low level format command comes with the Supra or not. After that…a "high level" or AmigaDOS format (via the FORMAT command) would be appropriate. The drive *should* be ok then. Don
