The MSDOS world has a bunch of bitmap formats. You need to convert that
bitmap to an IFF bitmap. It is probably a TIFF (there seem to be two basic
kinds -raw and compressed), or it might be a pcx file.
Either way, there is a program called HIJAAK which runs on PCs. It's
commerical and costs about $100. It will convert most IBM style formats to
IFF formats (they call it LBM, but its the same thing as IFF).
An alternative is to look in the GRAPHICS SUPPORT forum (GO PIX) and find a
conversion tool which will make your MSDOS file into a GIF, transfer to the
AMIGA and turn it from a GIF to an IFF using one of the AmigaArts lib's GIF
converters.
