Lary, I get the sense that the keyboard on all models was a "grab bag" as far as the touch. Since the 2000 kbd ccan be used with the 3000, I'm no longer concerned as I can swap if the 3000 comes in with one as mushy as the demo unit. BTW for the benefit of those who seem to be overly sensitive to 3000 criticism (not you, Larry) the mushy feel is just like a $13000 Compaq set up at work which many peopl like…its only an opinion about feel and not about quality…(shees, its so tough to have opinions these days…) wmc
