Mike, (This is actually a tag on to my original reply to you) I tried switching the Preferences aspect. No joy. Still prints out in portrait mode. Any other ideas to try? A nasty memory is starting to percolate thru my skull to the effect that the LJII always treats graphic dumps as 'portrait' information and that printing graphics in landscape mode actually requires the application program perform the logical rotation (if I may coin a phrase) – Mark
