I would bet Amigans get especially upset with Byte because it's precieved (rightly or wrongly) as THE original real technological hacker mag, where as the others are precieved as business ventures geared to a particular platform (read "business", where the $ are). As such, they feel the Amiga should get regular exposure, as it did 7 years ago. I agree that b****ing is counter productive, and like swearing, merely calls attention to your own inability to express yourself intellegently. I would rather call attention to my disappointment in their coverage and hope that they would try to pique the interest of their readers in other, though not mass market, viable plaforms. Certainly the Amiga is now central to a lot of cable TV and small production houses. Gracia
