Maybe I have a different perspective; but if someone were to write a VM
library for their hard disk controller that worked, I'm sure they could
coordinate with Mike Sinz so they can remain compatible; besides, its not
like new roms appear every month… between 1 and 2 years is more like it,
which is actually a fairly reasonable lifetime for a particular version of
a product anyway.
