Do you have a base model A2000 or A500? I believe that unless you have an
accelorator in you machine that you will loose characters if you set the
serial port much higher than 19200. (I believe that Supra recomends setting
the serial port to 57600bps to be able to use the modem to it's best
advantage. What you can do is either get an accelorator card , or if you're
using an A2000 you could also get ASDG's Dual Serial Board which would let
you go at 57600bps with no problem. I have the same model SupraFAXModem but
unfortunately I have it hooked up to a Commodore 2232 serial card that has
a limit of 19200bps, so I can't get as high a speed as is possible with
this modem.
