IRS regs
David,
We publish an even more specialized disk–New Hampshire law. And
we're up against the chicken/egg problem. If every PC had a CDROM on it we
could go $200, if not $75 (New Hampshire is small, but the laws go back a
long way<g>), but what we're finding is that the law firms end up buying a
new PC and a drive just for our product. Since this is about $3k by the
time it's all settled, it's not an impulse item anyway, and we end up
having to charge a couple K.
We've discussed a discount for small towns (say $0.25/citizen), but
it's the same thing–they have no computer, and no drive, so it still
wouldn't sell.
