Hi John, Thanks for the guidance. I set the jumper for ID 1, left the terminating resistors in place and hooked it up. Used GVP Fastprep and it seems to work fine. Just a quick follow-up: Are you supposed to power up with the SyQ cartridge mounted or out. If you power up with no cartridge in the drive, nothing will appear on the workbench screen. Then, when you put the cartridge in, WB doesn't seem to know. (Unlike the 3.5 inch floppy which quickly pops on the screen after a disk is inserted.) Is that the way it's supposed to operate or did I hook something up wrong? Also, I thought I would have to do something with the mountlist (which I wasn't looking forward to). But it seems to be working okay without any modification. Or, is this the reason it doesn't recognize the drive when the cartridge is inserted. Thanks again, John
