The local computer store was willing to provide the older versions
since I had purchased the more recent one, but the problem persists. Under
6.0.7 it called itself a System Error – no coprocessor and under 6.0.5 it
said it was ID – 14. But in either case it still created problems. I'll
try 6.0.4 later. A few other problems, particularly in the sound area did
go away with the older versions so there is still some hope.
