I have managed to scrape up about twelve thousand dollars and I am thinking about out fitting my system for video. Right now I have a 486/50 with 16 megs of ram and a two hundred meg disk drive. I should probably up grade the hardrive to a 1.2 gig and go up to 64 megs of ram. After that I want to get a VTR. Also I have a video links frame buffer board. Now I'll just ask qusetions, and let the experts answer. I want to get a S-VHS deck. Is this good enough ? I looked at the panasonic 7750 , I can get it for about $5600 . Is this a good deck ? If not what is good or what else should I take a look at? Do I need the time-encoder for the 7750? What is a good cost efective controller? Dy-quest or V-land? Is the video links board going to be good enough ? Do i need a targa board? Where can I get some info on doing video ? Books? I know its a lot of questions , but i trust the input from my fellow 3ds users . Thanks in advance Steve Clayton
