We have a pc at work with 4 megs of ram, with windows 3.0. Windows software won't run because it 'doesn't have enough ram'. Software vendors today are starting to realize that writing software for an unexpanded 500 is absurd, that it cripples the software, so they write it for larger machines, so that the more memory it has the better it can run. Memory is very, very cheap, and to buy an expensive box and not spend a few bucks on ram is equally absurd. I have a 2 meg CHIP ram plus 6 meg fast ram system; while slow, I never, but never, but never, run out of ram. The last 4 meg cost 40-50 per meg. Ron
