Carl, I know that at least one of the CD-ROM drives that DAK (used to?) sell was not standard SCSI. It could only be used with it's own supplied interface on a PC. (I believe that the cable pinout wasn't standard SCSI, and was also proprietary.) It's a good question to ask. I believe that DAK does sell some drives that are standard SCSI – best to call and ask them directly. David PS – if you do, please let us know what you find out.
