Ward, Although some of the messages did seem to get a little overzealous, there was sort of a ring of truth to them. In order to be competitive in performance with the other platforms, you really should consider upgrading to an accelerated, expandable Amiga that will run Workbench 2.04. You might consider using such a machine and either ImageMaster or Art Department Professional as a single machine that could deal with almost any picture file format. Color scanning might also be a good application for such a machine. The number crunching that such applications require would make using the A1000 too slow for them in your business environment. I thought that the one suggestion to use the A1000 to accept Amiga files and transfer them to your other equipment was a good one. Do you have a walk-in counter? Another use for the A1000 might be to add AmigaVision to it and provide an interactive slide show to your customers, that would present your capabilities and prices to them. Such a system could also be used to highlight some of your lesser used options/services and show & tell your customers how they might benefit from using them. David
