Microsoft Word 1.0 was one of the most "buggy" programs the Mac has seen. Since then Microsoft has invested a considerable amount of money in getting to where it is now. I forget when Word first came out, but I think it was over 5 years ago. I have used Word quite a bit while writing the PenPal manual – I know I didn't use an Amiga WP. Word is packed with features, but I still don't like the way these features are implemented. I much prefer using PageMaker for documentation – if I am going to use a Mac program. Still, PageMaker does not have heavy duty WP features. Finally, a super-highend WP is in the works here. It is a separate product priced and intended for a different market than FinalCOpy. All I will say about it is that it contains the best of Word, FrameMaker, and PageMaker on the Mac. I probably said more than I should have, but there it is anyway. Woody
