Tim, Your mention of the problem between Whap! and CDRom-FS has solved a longstanding mystery on my system. Suddenly I was getting Gurus whenever I called a file requester from Whap! I had no idea what could be causing the problem. It apparently was CDRom-FS. When I got the Xetec software and changed my startup so that CDRom_FS was not automatically invoked the problem disappeared. I would like to thank YOU! The problem is not happening when I use the Xetec software. I didn't encounter any other problems with CDRom-FS. I don't think it is bad software but the problem with Whap! is puzzling.
