The analogy I offer is this, you buy a car and only after purchasing the
vehicle you realise that it is unable to get to highway speed. Sure it can do
50 MPH and is just fine for going to the market. But you need to get downtown
in a hurry. Then after putting up with this for a year, the manufacturer says
for $800 we'll take the governor off and let this puppy burn.
That's my delema. I got a 68040 last winter and was told that it was the
fastest, neatest top dog in the lot. HA! But only after I cough up another
$800. I've lost about all interest in the product.
Wanna buy a used toaster. It's only been driven by a little ole' lady on
Sundays.
